The switches have been flicked after at least a year's solid development and the uber music, entertainment, social networking and mobile content portal YouMeNow is finally live in beta mode. It had been a massive undertaking by the team at Mercury and while there is a way to go yet, it's great to see the behemoth out of the docks and on it's way into the world. Check out the site, download some ringtones, use the free SMS service or grab yourself a hot band or artist Nowlet (redistributable rich media playing widget) to post up on your facebook profile.
The Rails Cartoon: 10 Year Anniversary

Today.. give or take a few.. marks the 10 year anniversary of my weekly cartoon. First published in the echo back in '95, the Rails Cartoon, as it has come to be known, is commissioned by the railway hotel in byron bay. Yay!
